The United States-Japan Foundation approached us to help give a gift that bridged both cultures. We found tons of great brands that have a presence in both countries. But Kinto, a minimalistic trendy drinkware brand from Tokyo with tremendous popularity in California was ideal. These sturdy but lightweight tumblers were paired with tea and hot chocolate, further representing both countries and sent to hundreds of recipients on all sides of the Pacific.
